And so we begin…. again!

Like I said before, as of right now, ABlue will be posted every Thursday! So I’ll see y’all next Thursday! But in between make sure to keep reading L.A.W.L.S., that comic will with out a doubt be posted every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday! :]

Well well well, what do we have here? IS THIS A POST? Why yes, yes it is. :3 I’m really sorry It’s taken me sooooo long to get back to this story. I got to a point last year when this comic was beginning to COMPLETELY overwhelm me because of various things; namely the time spent on each post in JUST save times. >< There were a number of factors that played into this dilemma, the file sizes, my old (slow) computer, etc... but after working on L.A.W.L.S. in the meantime I was able to fine tune several of my skills and now I feel extremely ready to take this project back on!

Here’s the deal though, LAWLS is still gonna be my “center focus project.” It will be posted 3 times a week with out fail… So, if that means that one week ABlue will be postponed for a few days.. or even a week… that’s gonna have to be the way it is, I’m sorry. I know as a ABlue fan this may not be what you want to hear, but just know that I will try my best to make sure both projects are updated in a timely fashion! I hope you all will be patient with me as I try to take on BOTH project, and I things slow down here I really hope you can understand. But wait, there’s good new though! I was able to work out a buffer so for at least a month or so, so you can expect to come by every week and get some new readin’ for a while anyway. :]

As far as the comic Schedule goes, for now, I’m gonna say it will be posted Every Thursday. We’ll see how that works out for the time being…and if any changes need to be made, I’ll let you guys know in advance. :]

Anyway, thanks for understanding, I hope you guys like the new website and that are as excited as I am to get this comic back up and running! I’ll see you guys next Thursday with Page 1 of Chapter 3 of Anhedonia Blue!

First off I want to THANK PAUL WESTOVER for helping me out in a jam. Paul is a great guy, fantastic artists and a good friend of mine. If you have the time you should check out the comic he’s working on called Woody After Hours!

Now you may ask, why another Guest Art so soon? Well… I’ve been having some issues recently. So I’m sorry for the lack of updates. I want to start Chapter 3 really soon, but I’ve had to re-structure the way I go about doing the pages. My save times (the old way) have been TREMENDOUS and took WAY too long, meaning it would take me hours extra just to save the strip from time to time while I drew it. I’ve been working on a few different techniques to make sure that I can start speeding up the process of each page but unfortunately It’s just been eating up a lot of my time. ALSO, I’m going to be exhibiting at APE in a few weeks under the Rampage Network banner… so I’ve been on the pre-con grind getting merch together and setting up my table and all that. So please bare with me for a few week while I try to get things worked out. IF I can get things the way I hope to, the strips should start looking nicer and also be done in a reasonable amount of time. I’ll try to get something up by next week, no promises, but things will be back on the ball soon. Keep updated on when things will be started again through the L.A.W.L.S. FB Page or my Twitter Account!

I’m really excited to finally announce this. I’ve been working with the friendly folk over at Oxicomics to get the first issue of Anhedonia Blue published on the iPhone. It’s really fantastic how great it turned out, you are able to read the comic panel to panel, which gives the comic more of a “in motion” feel. At first I wasn’t to sure how this would work with ABlue, but Oxicomics did an astounding job! Right now, only Chapter 1 is available, but when you buy it you get a few extra pages that aren’t online. It’s pretty much the same thing as buying the physical copy of the book, with out the ads in the back! So that means, you get the extra poetry I included for the book only, as well as the concept work and thoughts! I know it seems a bit strange to buy a comic thats online for free, but that’s why I’ve added additional material. So now you may be asking.. how much is it? Well I worked it out with Oxicomics to only make it only 1 dollar! So if you really want to help support my comics, can spare a dollar to help me out, and you have an iPhone, iPad or iTouch, please consider buying it, if for anything it truly is an interesting experience. I feel like all comics should be read this way (now that I’ve experienced it first hand) and who knows.. maybe one day, this WILL be the only way we read them. :]

Here it is guys, the pre-order for Chapter 2 – Destructive Awakening! As promised I’ve set up a few different pre-orders. (All of which, will fund me ordering the books in advanced, so I will ship them to you guys as soon as I get them, just like the last chapter).

There are three types of “bundles” I’ve set up:

…And that wraps up Chapter 2! I’ve been working all week to put together book two, it’s been taking a while but it’s gonna be well worth it. This issue will include concept art that explains a few things I’ve intentionally kept vague in the comic so far; including a bit of backing info about the villain. I wont be putting this stuff online, so if you’re curious about it, you may want to pre-order a copy next week when I officially announce the pre-order for it. This time I’m going to have a few pre-order options, one of which being a Book 2 Bundle that comes with a poster print, buttons, etc. So look forward to that next week! See you all then.

Well the chapter is getting real close to being done! That means, by next week, I should have the pre-order for the physical comics books up and running!
