on April 25, 2010 at 10:44 pmAnd… it stopped raining again! Seattle seems to have a tendency to have short rain spurts. Unlike in California (where I now unfortunately live..), it rains hard for a days; we get a storm for 1 week.. then don’t see rain again for a year. Anyway, this page is an important page to me because i reminds me a lot of the time I spent in Seattle… especially the beautiful University of Washington campus. I miss those cherry blossoms and Suzzallo library.

Eydis is deep in thought, divided by her more logical self and this new.. confused broken up self.

LMAO, the world is full of mysteries that you need to fear… one of which is unfortunately the Cherry Blossom Tree Hugging Zombie Freaks.
…I’m sorry that I created them.. but as long as you avoid Cherry Blossom forests, you’ll probably be safe?
The colors in that first panel really pop. Amazing detail on the library. You’ve come a long way in the short amount of time you’ve been doing this (I know I’m repeating myself), and it’s awesome.

im likin all the textures your using. your art has improved dramatically since reeder! or even UI!
If it wasn’t for [ui] I would be no where NEAR this level of quality for each page! Surprisingly enough, once I started LAWLS all of a sudden ABlue’s art stepped up a level as well. It’s nice and I’m glad you’ve noticed and liked the recent changes. :] So, Thanks for the compliment.

You tried something different with the textures here, especially for the background. It has a slightly more rough feel. Something like the “grit” from the first pages.
I can really feel the “post downpour” atmosphere.
