This is why I dislike buses.
I do like trains though.
They go at a more constant velocity, you also get to watch people but they leave you alone, you have room to take put your bags and take out your laptop, you see (disgusting) wastelands pass by, ... I would spend a whole day on a train if I could. (Technically, I can, but i'ts a bit expensive and the sanitary facilities aren't that great.)
My best "strange encounters" where on a train or in a station, too.

When I lived in Portland, OR I was all about the bus - I took it almost everywhere and never had any really bad experiences. Then again, Portland has a pretty good bus system and makes it fairly easy to use the transit system. When I moved back home to Montana, then eventually (after another 3 years of University in North Dakota) to the Mini Apple (Minneapolis, MN) I tried using the bus there, but it was not a very good bus service - routes were pretty much "rush hour a.m. into downtown, rush hour p.m. out of downtown" and anything else was really inconvenient. It's much the same here in Athens, GA - if I want to go downtown, first I have to hop a bus going in the OPPOSITE DIRECTION, then catch a bus about 3 miles up the road going into downtown, a transfer for which I have to wait about 1/2 hour. It's really ridiculous. And they wonder why no one takes advantage of the bus service. *sigh*

Thanks! I try super-duper hard to make sure that I get all my grammar and spelling correct in my comic; I went through a phase where i miss spelled stuff on every post, and people started to point it out.. and I realized it made me sound retarded. SOOOO I take the extra time on each page of both of my comics to read, re-read and re-re-read to insure there isn't errors... sucky thing is.. occasionally a few slip in. ><

Thank you SOOO much for you're votes, your comments and you're readership. It is VERY much appreciated. :] ...and sorry it took me a while to see this comment. Sometimes I miss comments on older pages; but either way I always hunt them down just to make sure no comment is left unread.I appreciate the comments and the time you took to write them, so I take the time to comment back. :D

You win the SUPER-DUPER, UBER-WUNDERBAR TERRIFIC award for using the proper plural spelling of "bus"! From now on, you get to go "nyah" to everyone who misspells it, and especially look upon city signs and fast food signs that are misspelled with disdain. You are among the privileged. Enjoy your elite status! :-)

Loving the comic! I'll be voting each day (I put all my voting links in a separate bookmark folder and open them all once per day to vote - saves me time and helps me to remember to vote for everyone!)!

First of all: Street scene with the bus you drew=flippin' sweet. And yeah, the few times that I've been on the bus I've had a couple encounters like that. Gotta love it. :P

Oh, well at least he didn't just blatantly attack you trying to steal your computer or something. That would have been super scary. One time i visited San Fransisco and I had a simular thing happen to me... some black guy followed me around yelling he was "the real San Fransisco N****" He got got right up in me and my girlfriend(at the time)'s face screaming how he wants to kill white people. Pretty intimidating. I think all cities have their creepers.

Haha, wow. I know a few people who like to take the bus though. My friend Ian for instance love the bus, walking, and taking alternative modes of transportation to get around. I don mind the bus either.. I just mind paying for it.
