Another late night working on this strip, but the outcomes seem to be worth it? :]
I threw in a bunch of random comic names that i read on the wall in the last panel (that and some other junk), figured why not? There will never be another time when you see a webcomic graffiti wall.. right? haha
↓ Transcript

wow this page has a lot to look at, the sweet bike, the writhing on the walls, and i enjoy how the rain interacts with everything!
Thanks man! I try my hardest to make sure that their is a lot of detail.. i mean in real life there is always detail so why skim on it here? (even if it takes me hours sometimes…><)
That’s a pretty sweet ‘cycle – what type is it? Love the rain, too. BTW, isn’t she still wearing the Loot Whore shirt? ‘Cause it looks like she’s just wearing a plain OD on this page … just thought I’d point that out … (sorry … it’s not that I’m OC, it’s just that I’m detail-oriented when I’m not all exhausted and half-dead to the world or vibrating with anxiety or one of the other psychological problems I deal with at times … LOL) (in case you don’t know the vernacular, OD = Olive Drab)
haha.. dammit, the ONE time I consciously decide, “meh, no one will notice.. I’ll just leave it out this time,” is the time YOU notice it!
Believe it or not, at different angles sometimes it’s rather challenging to put the text in on her shirt. It’s pretty much because of the fact that it’s a text file.. not my hand drawing, and the text file has limitations.. putting it under jacket for example means part of it is gonna be cut out. Text by default can’t be ‘cut,’ so i have to pretty much move it to the location i want it.. make it a flat image, and then cut around it.. blahblahblah, long story short, at 4am as I’m up all night working on my post to get it up on Monday’s…sometimes i get lazy cos i want to sleep. This little detail will probably be one of those things i fix when i prep for printing of the second book… especially now that I know someone ::cough cough: YOU ::COUGH:: has noticed it missing.
PS. its a modification of a Yamaha V-STAR 600… the bike I WANT to own.
Nice subtle advertisements.
At least it’s not just my comics name, there is also: Nerf This, Questionable Content, & White Ninja!
Wow. I really like how this page turned out! Especially the bike!
Thanks, I was pretty happy with the out come of the motorcycle, especially since I was nervous about drawing it in the first place.
quite the lady. Lovin the bike. There better be an action scene involving that bike!
There is. :] Thanks.
haha obama da wookie?? is that a reference to something? and I agree with everyone. This is a really well drawn panel. the rain looks amazing
LMAO, I don’t think so? But ever since he’s been our president for some reason randomly i thought of that, and it always sort of had a ring to my ears that I’ve enjoyed. :]
haha that’s amazing. I smell a new threadless t shirt. And I don’t know how I was the first to comment on it either. Its so funny haha.
LOL… Maybe.. but i feel like that could be taken the wrong way and someone might think that’s racist? Idk if calling a black dude a Wookie would be a safe gamble…
Man oh man that is a sweet bike. Her scowl made me laugh, as well as all of the graffiti going on in the background. Another awesome page!
That bike was HARD to draw, I through it in this early into the comic because I just wanted to test out if I could draw it out… Since I can, Expect a cool action scene with it later.
LOL. Totally looks like a Rebel! Love it.
It’s actually a Yamaha V-Star 600… which was the bike I WANTED to buy.. i think TGB had one just like this one if i can remember correctly.
Ah, and so you have answered my question from above – if only I had read all the comments before responding to the one above! Again – sweet ‘cycle for a rice burner …
But I’ve always favored Harleys … it’s the sound, that guttural roar that is pure Harley – nothing like it.
I love Harely’s too.. but they are just too expensive. So I go for the Asian equivalents, as long as its a cruiser and not a crotch rocket, I’m happy.
That’s one amazing bike, very nicely done!
I still love the rain, what technique did you use if I may ask?
The humor on this page is a very nice touch, too.
