In case you are wondering, on Eydis’ desk she has a few comic books sitting there. The three comics are all webcomics in which I read. The top most being my friend Scott’s comic which I told you guys about last week called Motokool, the next being my friend Ali’s comic Spaghetti Strap Western, and finally, my biggest influence in wanting to create a graphic novel The Zombie Hunters! If you haven’t read any of those comics I recommend that you do!

Eydis runs home screaming from the coffee that was just thrown into her face.
Eydis: BAH!! That's it! See if I ever go outside again!
[Panel 2]
Eydis: How could I be so clumsy?
She is running up the stairway in her apartment complex, unaware that the reason she was so clumsy is still following her.
[Panel 3]
Eydis: Guess I'm gonna have to change after all.
She is in the process of taking off her jacket and throwing down her coffee cup.
[Panel 4]
The creature finds the dice and is happy. You can see Eydis starting to change in the background.

haha. I’ll ask it, and risk possibly making you mad: Is the bird thing invisible, or is Eydis just that oblivious?
LOL, why would that make me mad? At the moment I’m leaving it vague. The answer to your question is both really. I promise you, SOON you’ll see what the hell is going on. :]
ahhh. gotcha. well, some artists just get touchie about things like that. Just the other day on deviant art, I saw this guy who’s style and vision was similar to the type of stuff you do on inklings and he got mad at me for saying so. which was weird, because i was very delicate to phrase it in a non-offensive way. i believe i said: “nice work. this actually reminds me a bit of this guy’s style: (here’s where i put your link). very cool” or something like that. but he got pretty upset. then i had to explain myself… what a mess that was.

after he had a coronary over me pointing out that his one deviation reminded me of your style, i didn’t bookmark or follow him… if he replies to my sort of apology, i’ll be sure to grab the link to his page… but i’ve got no way of getting to him now.
How dare you Nixon, having opinions and things like that (I’d say the biggest thing for people who create art is to be humble and happy that others want to look at, and let alone talk about their art)

I love that you always have the creature making random sounds. I wish we could train Winslow to say “meer!”
lol, well.. what else is it gonna do? Say “Well hello Madam but I think you may have fallen across my lucky dice, would you care if i take a look see in your coffee, I believe it may be there.”

A ruckus? LOL! Well… It’s sort of just like a cats purr or when dogs grumble a bit, not to disruptive.. except for when he dive bombed after the dice off the building.. I’m sure that was more of a ear piercing screech (that no one heard).
If a creature screeches and no one hears it … is it dead?!

I really like the comics on her desk, it merges her world and ours a bit, like you did with the Tarfux website.

Well, Unconscious Ink from here on out is going to be having concept art from Anhedonia there from time to time.. so there is now an extra incentive to be following [ui] as well because you can keep on top of things here at ABlue. :] Glad you like the idea!

Glad you noticed that detail. When i was working on it, it would occasionally trip my eyes out because its really subtle and my eyes would start to focus on what i was looking at and i couldn’t even tell it was blurry till I looked away. It made me feel slightly sick actually. BUT Because of that I figured my mission was accomplished.
Also, she split it on her desk, not her bed. Look again. :]
