on December 14, 2009 at 2:35 amI’m gonna keep this blerb short, Just thought I’d give a few updates and some interesting facts. Firstly, you can finally download the first Anhedonia Blue Desktop wallpaper at the Extras Page! I made it in three sizes, so hopefully that theirs a fitting image for whatever your display might be. If you need a specific size let me know, and I’ll make one for you. Also, if you didn’t get a chance to see at my other site, there’s a character sketch of the little creature from this page at Unconscious Ink [ui]; which btw is now connected to my portfolio.
Other than that, I just wanted to let you folks know that my good friend Scott Ferguson of Nerf This just launched his very own graphic novel called Moto Kool, which I’m pretty excited about So i wanted to give you guys a link to follow along! I believe he’s gonna post every Monday like me!
Eydis: Well, the world is as boring as I remembered it. ...fuck it.
Eydis is walking and the creature who dropped his dice is following her in hopes to get it back.

Eydis: Like ROBOTS!
Eydis exclaims out loud.
[Panel 3]
A guy passing by looks at her really oddly because of her random exclamation.
Eydis: You're right. ...that's crazy talk.
[Panel 4]
Eydis: Bioengineering students don't make cool stuff like robots. We make crap.
[Panel 5]
Not seeing the magical creature in front of her, Eydis is lost in thought.
Eydis: I wonder though... Maybe I can swipe some parts from campus, then I can try...
[Panel 6]
The creature pulls her cup forward trying to look inspect it for his missing dice.
[Panel 7]
Eydis' cup fly's forward at her because the creature let go of the cup; he wasn't able to see the dice right off the bat.

Eydis screams in pain because the coffee is burning her face!

Let’s just say, she’s known to be clutsy.
Eep. Hot coffee to the face is not fun at all. Hmm.. only question I have now is, will she ever be able to see those creatures? Looks like it was trying to get that dice back from her cup, and failed miserably. Poor Eydis!
Coffee in the face is what happens when you tend not to notice things in front of you!
That… or just not being able to see magical creatures? Maybe it’s the coffee that will make her able to see the creatures? lol, only time will tell on that one.

Her expression in panel three and the last panel are my two favorites. I love how disgusted she looks in the 3rd panel though…to have such distaste in your own words, it’s funny to me.
I guess in addition to being agents of fate or something, those bird things are also huge jerks.

It occurs to me … why is she wandering around with a cup of hot coffee without a lid, anyway? I ALWAYS put on a lid ASAP because I’m a total klutz (a) and my hands always shake (b) so I would constantly be splashing my coffee around. Why would anyone be taking a coffee to go – even a Shitty Black – without a lid? It perplexes me … even though it does allow for the plot point of the die falling into the cup … Ummm … well … never mind.

The answer to your question “why is she wandering around with a cup of hot coffee without a lid, anyway?” WELL, it’s cos that’s something I’D do! :] I actually never put lids on things, its one of those random ass “I’m gonna ‘go green’” type things that I do. Anyway, A lot of what Eydis does are things I’d do, i forget sometimes that other people may not get my perception of the world, guess i should consider that a bit more in my story telling abilities. Also, I drink things black. :] Black.. or with Soy milk.. regular milk is grrooss.
