[Panel 1]
The mysterious creature who's been showed a few times at this point playing with a dice finally decided he's gonna drop the dice just to see what happens.
[Panel 2]
Eydis steps out of Cafe Tarfux with her coffee briefly watching the people walk by, contemplating what to do for the day.
Eydis: What now? Study? Meh... Maybe I should take advantage of the sun being out?
[Panel 3]
It starts to Rain.
Eydis: Go Figure...
[Panel 4]
The creature wonders why he decided to drop the dice and if it was a bad idea, he's sort of grown attached to his new toy and misses it.
[Panel 5]
The creature dives after the dice, drolling in excitement and frustration.
[Panel 6]
Eydis, now with her hoodie over her head, is walking back home enjoying her coffee, deep in though.
Eydis: Would have been a boring day outside anyway.
[Panel 7]
The creatures dice plop in to her coffee, she appears to pause for a second as if she noticed it. She didn't. She continues walking.
[Panel 8]
Eydis: Whatever.
She continues walking as the creature flops down into the scene noticing his dice is walking away with Eydis.

OMG she is going to choke on the die, and die!
Or; Maybe she’ll find it, and play a solitare version of one-die yahtzee.
It’s gotta be one of those two, that’s all I’m certain of at this point.
You’re right, next week she chokes on the dice, dies…and that will conclude the story of Anhedonia Blue.
If this wasn’t actually YOUR comic (meaning I’m actually interested in reading it over a lengthy period of time) I would absolutely love for it to end this way!
Naw, the best ending would happen on March 5th 2012, when Eydis, out for a walk to get a cup of coffee, trips over her own feet, hits her head, and dies.
At first when you gave a specific date like that.. i was assuming you were giving the date the World was supposed to end. So in my mind what I was thinking is, the world, as predicted, ended and therefore Anhedonia came to screeching stop as the world explodes. Therefore, regardless of her story unfolding…

is the creature based off of any existing lore or myth? or is it a creature of your own creation?
The creature is actually a distorted version of my dog Winslow. They say the best way to create art is to root it in things you know, so when i was designing it sometimes i would look at my dogs demeanor and realize that he’s a strange little beast and BAM.. i was able to create this guy. Though, it does carry similarities to a griffin, minus the eagle and more rabbit/dog like in its stature.

erm.. the idea of my dog got “jiggy” with the idea of a bird… I guess?
The idea of “your dog getting jiggy with a bird” is just wrong…

haha, you’ve seen people drink their coffees like that right? It’s always funny to me that people do that… cos it’s really not adding much leverage… or at least I wouldn’t think so.
