I actually discussed this particular point with a few people prior to posting, and after as well. As you know, most people don't actually know the proper pronunciation of dice in it's plural. That being said, since this is dialog of an "everyday character," who would be thinking her everyday thoughts, she's probably think it wrong. I know i still do stuff like that all the time. For instance, i KNOW espresso is pronounced Eh-SPRESS-O, though in my head i still say expresso for whatever reason.. and from time to time it slips out and i say, "give me an extra shot of expresso," it's embarrassing.. but what can i do.. I'm human, and so is she. Sooo as it stands, I've sorta leaned on keeping it incorrect, though, if too many people tell me its wrong, i may change my point of view or whatever.
