Been a busy busy week I must say. As my life has been getting busier it seems that so is Eydis’. Looks like things are about to change in her life! At least she’s not applying for Grad School and on the verge of picking up and moving.. oh wait.. she did do that! That’s how she’s run across this curious creature actually. Let’s hope my potential adventure is as eventful as hers? Well… first lets hope I get in? See ya next week.
I know it’s hard to see, but her computer display has the comic Nerf-This open and the last song she was listing to was Skinny Love, by Bon Iver!

[Panel 1 - 2]
Eydis grabs the dice from the creatures hand because her goggles aren't receiving any sort of heat signature.
Eydis: Nothing, its just a dice.
[Panel 3]
Her hand shows up on the infrared but the dice still doesn't show anything unusual.
Edyis: This shouldn't be able to float like that on it's own!
[Panel 4]
Creature screeches.
[Panel 5]
Eydis: Hmm.. at least it taste good? But... that still doesn't explain...
[Panel 6]
Her necklace startles her as is starts to glow. She drops the dice and flings her self back as if shes trying to get away from it, even though it's connected to her.
Eydis: OH MY GOD! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?!

I second what Teddy said. Looks like things are about to really start happening. So looking forward to what’s around the bend!
Only question I have is, did she see the bird-like creature? And why in the world would you lick a die like that?!? She doesn’t know where it’s been. 
The obvious reason to like the die is cos it taste like delicious coffee! :] Next week will answer your other question. I’m anxious to start the next couple pages, its fun to see my ideas go from my brain to text and then into comic form… each version has its own interesting twist!
I like this page. I wonder what will happen next… Also why didn’t I think about tasting the die first?
I’m not sure, I thought tasting something would be the obvious first step in evaluation! …well see how long that works out for me, should be fine unless i taste cyanide. :]
I just love how she deduces “tastes good = paranormal” xD

haha, well I’m not sure she’s exactly deducted that yet but she sure as has has figured out that floating dice that taste like coffee aren’t normal… their just damn tasty.

I have a nasty habit of having dice snatched from me, maybe she should practice “invisible monster punching” a little more
LMAO, is THAT how you created Monty!?! You’ve played invisible monster puncher one to many times and you need to try to grasp on some sort of reality by making up a monster named Monty for your comic? lol

Not to nit-pick at a good comic, but when she says it’s “a dice”, that’s actually incorrect. Dice is plural, while a die is the singular form. Several dice; a single die.
* The More You Know
It’s no problem at all, in fact I welcome corrections. I actually discussed this particular point with a few people prior to posting, and after as well. As you know, most people don’t actually know the proper pronunciation of dice in it’s plural. That being said, since this is dialog of an “everyday character,” who would be thinking her everyday thoughts, she’s probably think it wrong. I know i still do stuff like that all the time. For instance, i KNOW espresso is pronounced Eh-SPRESS-O, though in my head i still say expresso for whatever reason.. and from time to time it slips out and i say, “give me an extra shot of expresso,” it’s embarrassing.. but what can i do.. I’m human, and so is she. Sooo as it stands, I’ve sorta leaned on keeping it incorrect, though, if too many people tell me its wrong, i may change my point of view or whatever.
I like that you added “The More You Know” made me chuckle. :]
