Now here we go, that’s more like it! I’ve been anxious to post this page because of the simple fact that it sets the tone for this comic as a whole. The two previous pages soul purpose were to visually introduce Eydis and then give you the framework in which this comic takes place. From this point on the story unfolds; you will now get a feeling as to who our protagonist and antagonists are and what Anhedonia Blue is all about. I hope you enjoy and start to develop questions as to who is who and what is what. :]

wow, I knew when i drew my characters that I drew them based off the fact that they have quality I find attractive. I never thought other people would feel the same about my creations. :]
I mean, i guess you can try to hit on her… I just don’t know how a pre-written and drawn character will respond to your advances. haha

Honestly, I also agree… If I could I so would post that often. Problem is, each page takes a while to do considering that I make sure each page is colored and inked to the best of my ability before it’s posted. Hopefully over time i can at least move it to twice a week. :]

Where nothing moves at our behest and pain is only increased by pleasure. Can’t it just be as it is; aren’t we finally just observers in another persons dream?
Interesting observation of this strip. I pretty much followed what you were getting at except for the pain/pleasure thing. Maybe I myself am miss interpreting your interpretation of the strip though.

Why thank you, I actually fell upon it on accident. I struggled for a bit with this page’s set up and was messing around with something and accidentally came up with this aesthetic. I was rather pleased with it and have been working to do similar things for later pages.Glad it was successful. :]

I like the art style, did you draw this with real color pencils or was it digital ?
All my line work is done completely in pencils, I then scan the comic and color on the computer. It’s hard to get such vivid colors from paper to the computer with out it this approach, though it’s not impossible, I’m pleased with the results so far.

this comic looks cool, but is unreadable because of your page layout. maybe a gigantic left sidebar isnt such a great thing? could you center the image?
