  1. Teddy

    Is Bob dead?

  2. Drakanor

You would think that someone would have looked at the sound of the glass exploding..

    • Lazerith

Well… it’s raining and the shattering glass, more likely than not, sound’s a bit like thunder, what with the creepy evil magic, throwing Bob out the window itself. so yeah, im going to assume that… but you know what they say about assumptions, don’t make them. and as for the glass, im going to speculate, they may just think. it being a city. it was already there

      ~Laz W00t!~

      • Joenis

Laz is correct. At first while drawing it I was worried that it would seem unusual but I figured since a storm was starting to roll in because of that likelihood of thunder and lightning would be rather high. So even if the spell caused a flash and a loud crash in the middle of the rain, in a city (Seattle) where it rains a lot, that sound probably wouldn’t come across as unusual.

I’m glad that both are on the top of things. :]

  3. nixonagnew

    aww poor Bob!

    • Joenis

I’m not sure if it was you or Teddy who started calling this guy Bob, but I’m starting to notice that more people are calling him Bob now! lol

      • Teddy

It was me. I call everyone/thing I don’t know “Bob” as a default.

I met this very large scary african-american fellow, but did not know his name, but went with my usual and referred to him as “Bob” to my friends when talking about him, as it would be quite ironic for such person to be named “Bob”

I later found out his name was “Robert” :P

  4. Half Note

    That was awesome.
    Yayyy for buying stuff!!

  5. scotticus fergisus

about time that bird/cocker spaniel got what he deserved ;)

    • Joenis

hahaha at first when i glanced at your comment i thought you said “it’s about time that bird/cock got what he deserved,” but then i realized i was wrong. Still funny.

  6. Spanky McBubbles

Wow! Can’t believe you’ve done 17 pages already! It doesn’t seem like it’s been that many, and it’s been a fun and interesting adventure so far! That last panels remark made me laugh. So looking forward to what’s gonna happen next!

    • Joenis

I know right? I can’t believe I’ll be printing the first book soon! Feels like i just started this comic! lol

I actually reworked some of this panel to fit in the joke at the end of this page. The beat of it just followed once I drew it and couldn’t pass it up. Which means the next page will have more stuff on it then planned cos I’m gonna have to fill a whole page! lol So, all and all, it was a good choice, especially since you laughed. :]

  7. Jimidean

Oh snap that dog bird just got fucked up! cant wait for the comic! :D

    • Joenis

      He surre did.

    • Lazerith

Kind of Makes me think, of how a Showdown with Dracula, and that Twat Edward from Twilight would go, edward, being bob of course

      ~Society Against sparkly ass Vampires~

      • Joenis

LMAO, seriously Dracula would kick Edward’s ass then suck Bella’s body dry of blood in front of him just to spit in his face. Hell while we’re at it, he may even spit a bit of the left overs to him, so he can finally taste what he’s missing out of for being a panzy. :]

        • Lazerith

Amen to that brother, if i can find the link. i saw this awesome shirt of bela lugosi as dracula, holding Edwards head, and the underline says The Sparkling. Ends. Now. i’ll hook ya up with the link as i said if i can find it

sorry about the double post lol

    ~Society Against sparkly ass Vampires~

    • Joenis

LMAO, That’s pretty awesome… i thought her name was spelt Bella though? I wouldn’t really know since I’ve never read the book. BTW, have you seen the twilight is gay shirt? Pretty funny stuff. :]

  10. madassassin

Having watched a lot of Twin Peaks recently anything named Bob takes on a sinister relation to the elusive “Bob” from that series. But it also suits the strange creature in much the same way that it suits the malevolent and murderous character of Bob. I don’t even know why.

    • Lazerith

I remeber that show, yes Bob was evil. and well i kinda liked bob, but it’s been year’s since i saw the show. was that the one where the guy’s sister was in the buble in the afterlife?

      ~Society Against sparkly ass Vampires~

      • Teddy

Twin Peaks? I like Bob because it is so “normal” when yet clearly Bob is not normal :D

    • Joenis

I’ve never seen that show, I’ve heard a mix of very good and very bad things about it. Didn’t it have some sort of really abrupt ending that didn’t make sense, or just left you hanging for eternity? Would you recommend it?

Either way, that’s an interesting perspective on the creature that’s been following Eydis around. I’ve sort of seen him as a lonely, playful thing.. but a bit too inquisitive for his own good and therefore got himself in a dangerous position. I mean, who would have known this random girl who kept to herself most days like her posed magic powers? But, that’s not to say, he’s good good intentions either, the devious often have a playful side to them which may or may not have a sinister effect. :]

  11. Zebyron

The setup of this page made me laugh.
    Silence – Action – Action – Comment.
I do feel sorry for “Bob” though.

    • Joenis

Yeah, I actually had to come up with the next page entirely on the spot because the last panel of the NEXT page was actually the last of this one originally.. I decided while drawing this page out that the pacing had a interesting opportunity to potentially be humorous. Glad you liked it. It was a risk worth taking apparently!
