If you may notice… your regularly scheduled Anhedonia Blue Page is NOT here today. The reason being is that as of this week ABlue will now be posted on Friday’s! So THIS Friday stop buy and you will see the next installment of this chapter. But for now, let’s thank Joe Hunter for the AWESOME artwork he did for me so I could comfortably do this transition of posting my other comic L.A.W.L.S., now on Monday and Wednesday, and this on Friday.

If you haven’t ready Joe’s Journalin’ blog, you definately should. I get a kick out of his work and frequent his site quite often.

Chapter 1 Art Revisions

In preparation of the release of my first comic book, i felt that I should revise the art in the first chapter. In the Seven Months since i started this comic my artistic style has jumped leaps and bounds. Since I started Chapter 2 I tried out several new techniques that I had been testing out but had implement in Ablue. I didn’t want to put them randomly into the first chapter because i felt it would make the comic to inconstant if i was suddenly adding textures and different styles of line work to the pages. As I was looking thru my archive I just felt unhappy with a lot of the beginning pages; too many character inconstancy, bad muddy looking shading, and various other things. So I’ve spent the last week cleaning up pages. So far ive gotten about 15 of them updated and online, with the first few pages left to still get done. So this week, i figured as I’m spending the time updating the last few, you guys may want to jump back and appreciate this weeks hours of work that I’ve put in so far, and hope that you understand that I just didn’t have time or energy to get to a new page. WIth that though, I PROMISE I’ll be back next week with an all new page!

Guest Art by Nixon Agnew

Sorry that I’m posting another guest art piece, but trust me its a good thing. I just got back from Emerald City ComiCon as some of you know and I’ve been SOOO exhausted since getting home that I think i was actually a bit sick. I tried drawing this week but everything looked like rubbish.. so luckily Ms. Nixon Agnew of Pictures of Crying Children hooked me up with a guest piece of Eydis. Looks fantastic! Anyway, NEXT MONDAY Anhedonia Blue will be back FULL SWING with a brand new chapter; A Destructive Awakening. :] I’m really excited about this next chapter so I hope you guys swing by.
